Ylang & Ginger Shampoo Bar has an amazing combination of Ginger and the Ylang-Ylang flower. Some have mentioned that it smells like the pencil erasers back in Elementary School. This fragrance turns into a delightful treat of earthy and fruity notes, with a slight hint of floral. A mid-range neutral tone, the combination of spicy Ginger and tangy Ylang creates a unique, pleasing, and surprisingly smooth fragrance. I try to describe this soap scent as when they are separately by themselves, Ginger is strong and so is Ylang-Ylang, but when put together it complements or mellows out each of the smells. However, I believe the Shea butter has a way with calming the smell.

Our Ylang & Ginger Shampoo Bar is full of cleaning power and moisturizing, we use coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, palm oil, castor oil, sweet almond oil, and jojoba oil. Shampoo bars may feel different than your commercial shampoos. We use them ourselves and have found that they help keep your hair balanced. 

Cut the bar in half to make two smaller bars so that it last even longer! To use, rub the Ylang & Ginger Shampoo Bar against your scalp line and anywhere there is hair until you feel a good lather, just like shampoo! Then, let it sit for a bit before rinsing clean. Switch back to a liquid if you like to test the difference because everyone has different skin and hair types.

Our tip for extreme cleaning: You can use a rinse of 50/50 apple cider vinegar and water to remove unwanted chemicals and hard water deposits left by commercial shampoos (only do this treatment monthly or bi-monthly).
